Details on why there is mucus around my stools sometimes when I go to the bathroom and the possible relation to ulcerative colitis. Hi i have alot of problems also i have this sticky yellowish mucus on my stool and i get dizzy and nausea, and cramps in my stomach. Then to where I looked at my stool and noticed it looked different. More yellowish and had something almost attached to it floating around. I have yellow watery diarrhea. Then my wife got a stomach flu, and I began to have problems with my stomach. I don’t have blood in stools, just yellow with mucous.
What does the colour of my poop mean? Pale stool (yellow or grey) can signify a problem with the liver or gallbladder, so if you have persistently light-coloured stool, then you should see your physician. These pellets consist of small, soft, shiny globs, each coated with a layer of rubbery mucus, and pass from the body in an elongate mass. The color changes can vary from yellow, green, black, clay-colored, bright red, or maroon. Other stool changes include greasy and foul smelling stool, tarry stools, stool that floats, or mucous in the stool. The stool may be bloody or contain green or yellow mucus. Symptoms that commonly occur with diarrhea include nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, and muscle weakness.
However, my stools seem relatively ‘normal’ (ie: not yellow. Sometimes parts of it is pale though. Sometimes, when you wipe, it feels ‘slimy’ if you are passing mucus. I had a BM, but noticed mucous in the toilet (not new, I’ve noticed my stool coated in it before). I’ve been having either yellow diarrhea or normal stools with a small amount of yellow liquid mixed in for 6 months now. This is called meconium and is made up of amniotic fluid, mucus, skin cells and other things ingested into the utero. Healthy formula fed baby poop is typically a shade of yellow or brown with a pasty consistency that is peanut butter like.
The Scoop On Poop
Charlie had a two week bout of mucus-y stool, it was gross! My hubby says not to worry, because the dog is probably fine, especially since the vet said so. My LO has a good amount of mucus in his stools. He’s 3 months. I get pretty engorged at night and he will have green poos too. But they will go back to yellow when I’m no longer engorged.
