Pale and yellow stool: may indicate the presence of undigested fat in the stool. Such conditions as pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) or pancreatic cancer can prohibit the absorption of fats by the body, resulting in fat-laden and pale stool. Sometimes the stool itself was yellow. Plus, the water in the toliet bowl turned yellow. After I recovered from TTP my stool was more normal than it had been in a long time (even before the TTP), but it started to go back to it’s old ways, which, included, among other problems- most bowel movements including abnormally soft stool if not diarrhea. I had another bowel inspection (different doctor), I explained my yellow poo but he said I was not saying anything that rang his alarm bells.
Whenever I wipe after going to the toilet there’s always a lot of yellow on the toilet paper. However, my stools seem relatively ‘normal’ (ie: not yellow. I’m recovering from either a tummy bug or food poisoning, (not 100 sure which), and my stools have become yellow with lots of yellow mucus.
